A Little Bit of Ice Fishing

We went ice fishing a couple of times this past week. One of the wonderful advantages of winter is that we can quickly buzz over the portages to many of the lovely lakes very close to where we live. We caught a few Speckled Trout on both of our excursions. They are the best tasting fish ever and are easy to clean. I fry them, skin and all, in a little butter. (Headless is my preference.) It's like eating in a five star restaurant!

Ricky's newest edition is "Mid-Winter Thoughts." He's not only witty, he's informative. What a great neighbor!

Just lovely!
