You may be wondering why Ricky has a corner on my blog. Ricky says he has what it takes to be a writer and knows that we have pretty good internet service, so he asked me if I would post his writings periodically. I can't refuse a friend, especially one who has saved our bacon more than once out here in the wilderness. Oftentimes, he is the only soul we see for weeks on end.

He just shows up with his chicken scratch on odd pieces of paper. We have to stifle our laughter whenever he goes on and on about his mishaps.
